I already had few pounds of deer burger thawed, so i hit the store for some jimmy dean hot sausage, celery, bellpepper, and some giblets (gizzards n hearts no liver) I probably took about 4 big bites, but no plate pics cause ain't gonna eat until tomorrow. I'm sure I'll take some to Mama and them.... After 3 hours of cooking Looking good and taste good, but gonna be even better tomorrow Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

But made a plate with what was left the other day (it went fast) with some Boudin and some Salmon patties i made and vacuum sealed from several months back (taste just like they did day i made) topped with little hollandaise sauce. Chopped up some bellpepper and topped my rice, dunno why but been liking the taste and crunch of a good Bellpepper for a while now, especially on a sausage dogs, added little Tony's too, seasoning was right on, but i wanted it lol... Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

Cooked with what I had on hand: 1 lb pork sausage (hot), 2 lbs ground beef, 1 lb ground pork, 1/2 lb chicken liver, 1/2 lb chicken hearts. Cooked per the directions in the recipe I linked earlier. Only deviation was to add a good bit of Tony Chachere's to it. Added the rice and let it sit overnight. Eating it today for lunch. I've been looking for a good way to incorporate organ meats into my diet. This might be it. Thanks for posting.
