Gonna take something special for me to mount another one for what it costs nowadays. Ive posted a pic here before but I made a Euro Tree. I boil out all of mine and find another limb to hang it on.
Its not the will to win but the will to prepare to win!

Life is short! Can’t take money with you but a quality mount is something that will bring back memories from that day! The excitement, the adrenaline rush, even how the weather felt that day! They print more money every day. They don’t print memories! Nice deer, congrats!
Hunting brings out the worst in people.

Who was the taxidermist? I didn't see it posted but could have missed it.
What's the going rate these days? My last shoulder mount in 2018 was $600. Stones in Leeds did it. Ron Bettendorf at Sorghum Hollow in Lamar county. He’s mounted all my stuff since 2007. He’s been under $600 until the last few years. He’s at $650 now I think. I didn’t even ask. I just paid up. Reason I don’t know is because I just keep a running invoice there. I’m never fully paid up. 🤷🏼♂️😂

Congrats on some great bucks.
It’s hard for me not to mount good deer/critters that we kill but I’ve gone to mostly skull mounts unless it’s something REAL special. The room and cost have become an issue.
