The crap in the Middle East aint helping, but the increase in gas is just about purely economics and Federal Reserve policy. No U.S. fuel supply (Biden) and high-inflation (Biden) plus high-interest rates (Biden) means really high gas and other commodity prices.

Yup, they dont really have to but they do because of meddling politicians. and lets not forget the tax increases at the pump. People that use toll roads and bridges know those rates have been going up, and don't get folks around here started up about car parts. Damn tires and batteries are more than enough to finance a new vehicle even if you have bad credit.

I put my Tundra in the shop 2 weeks ago, had to have ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar end links, steering rack bushings, new lower control arms and bushings, I had them install new shocks. I brought the Bilsteins, and the parts bill was almost $2k and the labor was $2.6K, on top of the rental car. Then I had to put it back in to diagnose and correct a defective speed sensor that was making the ABS mad. Another $450 plus a rental car for a day. I love my Tundra, but 14 MPG hurts. Sure wish this gas tax would start showing up on roads that aren't beating my truck to death..

Cheap down there. $4.20 a gal for the cheap stuff here y'day Thats crazy...  I been seeing $3.05 to $3.15 around here....And thats highway robbery...  Well dang....just went up to $3.25....

I think it was $3.35 for low grade at the Exxon in Andalusia. I believe the store in Sanford is the same (the two showed the same price last night - I just did not specifically notice the sign in Sanford this morning).
The Gitty Up - N - Go convenience stores around here changed hands a couple months ago and changed from Marathon to Shell fuel. I had no clue that the stores had been sold until I asked why they changed fuel suppliers.
