I can't believe I'm saying this on an Aldeer thread, but...
I completely agreed with what everyone has said in this thread.
He originally came out as this sort of blue collar everyman type of artist that tried to reflect the spirit of the times in his music. If that was the case he is failing miserably at his intended purpose. Same with Springsteen and so many like him.
Artists need to stay the hell out of politics. You are an artist, you paint, you write, you sing, you play an instrument. You are not an economist or a political science major, so shut the FVCK UP and play already.

Saw a couple of places on the interwebs that the story Mr. Mellencamp was telling was not about Biden or politics . IDK, I don't make the news, just report it. Has anyone seen what actually lead up to this ? If he was telling a story about Grandma , OK, if he was having a Biden pep rally that's different.
