Whatever attack Israel does, its going to be well set up for the video cameras to broadcast it in real time. Its also going to look big enough to send a message.
If it actually does blow up important targets is not the point, its going to be about the show and Israel needs it to look impressive and terrifying. Thats the only language Muslims understand.

With a powerful overwhelming force is how they should respond. That is the only thing those type of people in that region of the World respect and will take heed to. Iran was behind the Terrorist attack back in October in Southern Israel and now it is time to pay for their crimes.

I'd take out their oil supply lines and facilities, I'd take out all of their nuclear facilities and program. Then I'd send an unarmed cruise missile into the garage or front lawn of the home, palace, or wherever the Iranian Supreme Leader was resting his head at the time, just to let him know that I knew and that I would not ever hesitate again, to take him out. In fact, I'd broadcast to the world, immediately after the strikes, that I could have taken him out, and if anything is fired back at Israel in return, I dont care if it is someone shooting a rock across the border with a slingshot, then next one will be armed and they'll be looking for a new supreme leader once they gather up all the pieces of the old one and his family. Those factions over there have been fighting since the dawn of time. The only thing they fully understand is brute force and total brutality.

I think this is the true response. If they respond, they do so knowing they'll be in an even larger theatre of war. If that fits Israel's ultimate goal, that's fine, but they better be ready to cash the check they are writing and sending a nuke isn't on the table.

Another option: instead of big and showy, do silent and discreet. Have 5 to 10 important figures in Iran either disappear or jump off buildings (Russia style). Make them think twice about such drone stunts in the future.
