My daughter brought home a dog last year without my knowledge/permission. He has officially worn out his welcome since he has become an escape artist. I can’t keep him in the fence anymore and my neighbors and myself have all had enough. He needs to go. He is about a year and a half old. He is a boxer mix. Black with some white markings on feet and face. Located in Jefferson County but I’ll drive a good ways to meet you. If you want pics or more info just message me.

Yeah, it’s a long shot but I ain’t gonna lie! He is is a friendly dog but he is a little territorial. He gets along well with our golden retriever but doesn’t like our neighbors dogs getting close to our yard. He would make someone a great yard dog. Not ideal for a fenced backyard in a subdivision, which is his current situation. He did protect my wife from an aggressive dog while they were on a walk in our neighborhood a while back so he does have that going for him. He just likes his freedom. I have two teenage daughters but he’s never been around small kids so I can speak to his behavior or tolerance for young kids. I have no reason to believe he wouldn’t do fine around kids with proper socialization. He’s athletic, likes to fetch, knows basic commands. He’s a medium sized dog about 45-55 lbs. He’s not a roamer. When he gets out of the fence he usually just goes and sits on the front porch or lays in the driveway. He’s raided our neighbors garbage a few times at night, that’s about it. I’ve been hoping he would take off and find a new home on his own but no such luck yet 😂

I can think of better ways to resolve the situation than waiting for him to get out and potentially get run over or starve to death.

Translation : I'll drive this damn mutt to Texas to get rid of it if I have to.

I really want to go leave it on the porch of the lady that gave the puppy to the sixteen year old girl without checking with her parents first. But yeah, what Skinny said.
