Morikawa doubled 9 and then hit it in the water and doubled at 11. He done. An hour ago he was tied for the lead. Now he’s 5 back. Scheffler is putting on a show.

Thought Morakawa would do better - Sheffler good as advertised He had 2 miss hits the 1st 17 holes that cost him. If he just pars those holes instead of doubling them, he’s right there. He made bogey on 18 but it was over by then. Scottie played some amazing golf today and that Swede who finished 2nd in his first Masters had ice in his veins too. It was a good round to watch today.

I was surprised at Speith, Thomas, Rahm, and Johnson. You would have thought that one of them would have made a run. The only one that made the cut was Rahm and he finished 9 over; T45.
