I just caught the tail end of it, but the report said that Biden has canceled over 7.4 million (may have been billions) in student loans. If you never paid for anyone to attend college, you have now. I worked my tail off to cover my tuition costs and now the Clown of the U. S. has decided he needs more votes to win a crooked election.
I remember 20 years ago students having grants and loans and they would drop out of school as soon as their "money" came in. These folks were working the system and they still are today. Sad part is folks we are paying for it. I wish I would have had the deciding vote on this act by the dumbest president we have ever had.
I can't stand a thief.

The president will be sued again, and lose again on this issue. He is not a dictator and does not have the power to sweep a pen and do whatever the hell he wants to us. Just be patient on this.

If the avg debt is $60k, that’s only about 120 people. I’m sure it will be struck down again. Just trying to rile up support during an election year.

The thing is, letters will be mailed and thats all its gonna take. 90% of the folks wont pay and will just say the dick in chief forgave my loan n i have a letter to prove.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Just be patient on this. ^^This. The courts have already said he doesn’t have the authority to do this. This is an election year vote grab for those too ignorant to know any better. He comes out and says he canceled their loans. All the dumba$$es cheer. They stop paying, racking up penalties and interest. Then they find out the courts overruled him and get pissed because 1) they still owe the loan, and 2) they are worse off because of the penalties. Sleepy Joe announces how he tried but the evil judges that Trump put in place overruled him, this trying to piss the idiots off and get their votes if they were on the fence. People should have to take a test before being allowed to vote to rule out those too stupid to make an intelligent decision.

Yet we get a call from Sallie Mae that my sons loan payment is 2 days delinquent. We must not be and do not want to be in the “right” group of people.

You're correct but when the courts shoot it down again he'll just cry to the stupid voters with student loans that he tried. A small percentage will see that he was just blowing smoke up their ass the whole time but the majority won't and will vote for the idiot. Well, he's not the idiot in this scenario but he's sure playing the idiots.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

If someone takes out a loan for a degree that doesn’t pay well enough to pay off a loan, they made a very poor decision on careers. That’s not the problem of the American people.

Should student loans be forgiven, no probably not in most instances. Should we allow the status quo to continue, absolutely not. I agree. Though I wont vote for biden even if he forgives my loans some reform is needed. At least fix the rate to the fed's fund rate or some cap on rates within the loans. I had some loans at 2.2% but to qualify for certain payment programs I had to consolidate my loans and now the rate on those same loans is over 6%. Some of the rules just dont make sense.

You are correct but the problem is timing. Biden and Dems do these stunts with no real window for the courts to shoot it down before the election. And then, the Dems are so good at bitching about not getting free sh1t they blame the conservative courts and call them racist when they dont get their free sh1t. Then they work real hard to get those good judges thrown out.

If a kid is smart enough to get accepted to a college they are damn well smart enough to know they have to pay their loans back. I'm not sure you understand current collge admission standards. Many would have never graduated HS 20 yrs ago. It is that bad.

How he can keep doing this after it’s been ruled on beats me. He us being allowed to by us the people sadly. And I use to think the percentage of dumbasses to fall for it was about 50%. Pretty sure we are up to 75% and climbing quickly. It amazes me daily how many people are just totally clueless about what’s going on. That 75% group of dumbasses we are up to now does not know the Supreme Court already slapped him down on doing this chit 2 years ago. “ The dumbing of America” is almost complete

Rather than forgiving loans the school system itself should be overhauled. There is absolutely zero reason for a person in college to spend the first year and a half to two years taking stupid filler classes just to drain them of money.
