If you like Mexican food - Buenavista Mexican Cantina. They have a killer steak "California Burrito".

Carlton’s for Italian.

Haven't been but I've heard Augusta's Sports Grill has really good chicken fingers. Supposed to be just like what Princeton's (of Decatur & Florence) had before they went out of business.

Shrimp Basket or Johnny's Barbecue (no beer here though).

I have had them once and they are good.

Carltons is pretty good but way overpriced now.

Grumpy's is about the same food but a little cheaper and closer to the ball fields if you are going to Heritage Park.

There is a new Mexican joint that just opened in the old Pizza Hut location across 31 from the North shopping Center. I haven't been there yet but it must be good because it gets crowded in a hurry.

All Steak is overpriced and not very good any more. Their main chef quit a few years ago and now runs the kitchen at our church.😃

412 Public House is good but pricey.

Pasquale's Pizza has just reopened after a major upgrade. Haven't been there yet but since you won't have much time, I wouldn't recommend it. The waits are really long right now.

There is also a Mexican joint on Highway 157 called Alamitos that is pretty good.

If you are going to Heritage Park, Augusta’s is close by and the food is good. The owner is a member of our church, really good folks. Been in the restaurant biz for many years.

412 Public House is good eats.

All-Steak has the reputation, but isn't as good as it once was.

Don't think I have ever been more disappointed in a BBQ place than Johnny's.

Johnny’s BBQ isn’t too far from heritage. Some people like it, others need their heads checked.

Yes I would sorta agree but their catfish is really good. That is why I go.

412 public house is really good. Had one of the best filets I’ve ever had there. Small place and tight seating. But the food is worth it.
