Congratulations guys, I haven't heard a thing this week at Fort Novosel. I ended up having to brake hard on HWY 27 when a Longbeard decided to fly over the hood while driving. He flew into a restricted area too.

Very slow - but blessed to be able to go. Heard one about 300 yards across line gobble 1 time. I dont hav lot of spots or acreage or gobblers - but blessed to hav what i hav

Pwyse, How did the SOA hunt go? I killed one on the first morning and my buddy killed one on the last morning. We were on multiple turkeys every morning and heard multiple gobblers each morning. Weather helped a lot. Our area was mostly clear cut and young pines but there was some mature timber in a few places. We really thought we were going to be at a disadvantage since the clear cut was so big but the turkeys used it a good bit. It was just hard to get close to them on the roost since it was so open. I killed mine at 9:00 and he killed his at 8:30. It was a fun time.
