Well, we both know a Cody Green, and last time I talked to him, which has been in the last few hours, he wasn’t making turkey calls. The wording of the thread title just really had me intrigued. Lol

I’ve seen Cody calls, and also know the feller they are talking about - I was curious myself

The feller is my brother and it blew my brain up for a minute…ive had 2 cody slates..they were ok..not the worst i had..not the best either..the title did make me go…wait a minute…no wonder the fellers call broke

It won’t help you right now, but you can send it back and they’ll replace the slate. I had a Spec 1 Legend that had green slate and it cracked. I called them and she said return it. I did and had it back within 2 weeks.

Good luck. Since Cody’s shop burned down and they’ve ceased production, those calls have went sky high in price. I’ve got three of their green slate calls but not for sale. I watched a spec 1 legend sell for $1600 a few days ago on eBay.
