Everyone will really love them till they start toting off their lapdogs and kitty cats. We'll be there before long. Ive seen a couple here eating roadkill. They are large birds and hunters. Theyll eventually cause problems.

They are just white headed buzzards. They mainly eat carrion or fish. We had one of our hunters kill a buck and went back to the barn to tell someone that he had one down. He then went back to the field and when he got there an eagle was on the buck and grabbed his pecker and pulled it out of the body as far as he could. Frank said it was amazing how long a buck pecker is when an eagle is pulling on it.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Yep, white headed buzzards. Shoulda went with Ben Franklin's idea.

They were feeding on fish in that small pond. James spann posted some pictures of that pond almost empty and they were all over it

They need to be extinct, just a huge predator/scavenger we don't need. Nasty bastages

Wow! We have several resident pairs around , see them fairly often. I've never seen or heard of anyone seeing anywhere near that many together around here. Like a big family reunion .

When we get flood waters on the farm, carp get trapped and the eagles show up. There’s a pair of nesting eagle close by

My oldest lives in back woods British Columbia. Has permanent status, house, married, ect. When I asked him about seeing any eagles or bears he just laughed and said go to the local dump. Said that was where the closest he'd come to being eaten by a bear. He was dumping a load of trash from his old Ford, left the motor running and didn't hear the bear come up on the other side.

30yrs ago it was rare to see them, now they're everywhere. Even in Huntsville. Red tail hawk is enough.
