A little common sense would sure go a long way. "Shall not be infringed" shouldn't be misconstrued to mean illegal invaders who ignore our laws should have un-infringed rights to firearms. If a person ignores our laws and sneaks into the country, steals a gun and starts murdering citizens with it, he should not have his firearm rights infringed? Yes, that is ridiculous but a strict interpretation of "shall not be infringed" is too.

Like most progressive liberal judges they circumvent law by their rulings. Like the 14th Amendment was meant for slaves and their children. Not illegals and their anchor babies.

It always seems to work that way, almost like it was designed to do just that specific thing.

If the Constitution really did demand that we arm hostile invaders entering our country, that would be a great argument for abolishing it and starting over.

The slave thing is interesting to me. Them, Chinese and the Irish were mostly undocumented when first arriving. The Irish would get off the boat, be handed a uniform and sent to fight for the union. I just think the Republicans use it to rally their base. The same ones have illegals cutting their grass and building their houses. It's an issue that needed addressing years ago. Trump is the only person I ever seen actually do something, other than just speak on it

I don't think that many disagree with the idea that parts may need amending, but the question is, do we really want to open that door, or live with the issues to prevent making it easy for others to amend to their whims?
Personally, I like the system where it is interpreted as written unless the Strict Scrutiny Standard is applied. In other words, the Right exists unless their is a "Compelling State interest" to infringe upon it. I think keeping firearms from the hands of illegal aliens is a compelling state interest, so that is where the liberal Judge got it absolutely wrong.

I like the idea that America is here for its citizens first and foremost.

Giving illegals rights to a firearm also opens the door to illegals voting, does it not?
