I’ve tried three different ammo types from this new to me Bergara. I’ll say it shoots better than any other rifle I own, and it’s not even close, especially when you get out past 200. I sighted it in with Hornady 129 grain interlocks, known as the American Whitetail. I have had awful results in the 150 grain in .308, both in grouping and performance. These in the 6.5 CM group consistently under MOA. I think I may try to hunt with these this fall and see how they perform on deer. Their paper performance is really tight.
I actually haven’t shot a single group from this gun in any ammo that’s over MOA.

So my first group today was that same ammo at 200. I shot one 3 shot group at it was 1”. I went ahead and moved to the 140 gr Sierra Gamechanger, which is the Tipped Game King. It also shot 1” at 200 yards, and both groups had almost the exact same POI, being slightly low and left.

So I moved out to 300 yards with the Sierras and I also added a three shot group of the Norma Bondstrike, also in 140 grain. I’m shooting suppressed, so my MV is slightly lower than advertised, so my bullet drop is also slightly more than advertised, but not by much. I hit just under the target with the Sierras, BUT my grouping was an incredible 1.25” at 300 yards, albeit 13.25” low. I’m just glad I still had plenty of board to still measure the results. 😉 The Norma’s shot 2.75” at 300 yards, which is not bad at all, but the largest variation of any ammo I’ve shot through it. I shot another group with the sierras and made my elevation adjustment, and got 1.875” at 300. So two groups with the Sierras and the result was 1.25” and 1.875”. I’ll take that all day.

I moved out to 400 yards, and got another 1.875” grouping at 400!😳

I’d say regardless of my shooting ability, this Bergara definitely performs as advertised, and better. I can’t wait to put one of these Sierras through a deer at 500 or so yards and see how it performs.

I’ve got a Bergara Premier HMR in 6.5 PRC. It will damn near one hole a 120gr Barnes TTXS hand load at 100 yards. Everything I’ve shot in it has been sub MOA.

That's good shooting. I don't even know if I can hold that good. I'm sure it will be confidence inspiring when you get behind it with hoofs on the ground.

Nice groups.! I like mine also.(6.5prc) very smooth action and fit and finish is nice. Trigger is light and crisp. I haven’t stretched mine out that far yet but the groups I’ve had at 100 Says it will be good.
