I purchased a used Elite Ritual 35 off of eBay. Got the bow today. Opened the box and inspected the bow. The packaging was not very good at all. But everything did look good on the bow. Then I pulled the bow back a couple of times using my fingers. No arrow nocked of course. Over the years I’ve done this many many times. Then I decided to look at the cam timing. So I got to full draw, let off slowly about an inch or so and then back to full draw. I did this two or three times. And the next thing I know, bam! I guess the string just slipped off my fingers? But I don’t know. Anything else that could have happened? I can see that one of the cam mods is bent bad and one limb is splintered on the edge. So now I’m trying to decide is it even worth to the effort and money to take it somewhere. Who’s an elite dealer near Tuscaloosa or Birmingham?

Nearest dealer I’m seeing on their site is K&S Outdoors in Columbus, MS. They might warranty it. If not they’ll be able to give you a price on the parts to fix it.

Stupidest thing I’ve done since I cut the string on that z7 years ago. lol. After thinking about it, this is what happened I think. Not sure because it happened so fast. But the let off on that bow was insane. Which is what I’ve always heard the elite bows. I had to relax my muscles so much to let the bow down, that I guess I relaxed my fingers as well. IDK. Only thing I can think of. On another note. I picked up a z7 magnum a while back. Best shooting bow I’ve had as of yet. Awesome bow!

You can take it to Archery Unlimited in Prattville and they can do the work, I’ve taken my Elite there for warranty work.
