As the title states, anyone drive an F-450. Really wanting to learn from those that have gone from a 250/2500/350/3500 to this larger truck. I'm interested in the turning radius of this truck, though I wish it weren't a dually.

I had a 7.3 when I had a camper. I had to get commercial insurance. I remember some farming loophole and signed up and it was like $75 a month and premium was another $60 higher than f150. It will beat the hell outta of you especially the back seat. You feel everything! Tires were very expensive and if towing heavy loads Continental tires worked best. Zero side wall flex. Also mine was geared so darn low anything over 60mph i was running like 2600-2800 RPM so it drank diesel.
Now i did the full banks system. Intercooler, turbo, tuner, wastegate, etc. In super sport mode, the torque was addicting. i never even knew my 28ft camper was behind me in tow mode. Mountains were no problem with camper either. Looking back F350 would have served me better.

Mine turns like a dream, I put a flat bed in it and after the emissions warranty ended it got stripped of some extra weight. Love the truck, but it is not my daily driver. It turns as well as a half ton crew cab.
I should add that some insurers will not insure it on a personal auto policy. Geico will not. Progressive did, but not anymore. Benefit of commercial is you can put your trailers on the policy. Downside is it costs more than having the truck alone on a personal policy.
