I'm lucky I got the heads up before I left at 6 AM going to Auburn. Another guy from the office was trapped in the mess for over 2 hours.

I know those car shredding cables save a life, but they sure hamper traffic when something like this happens. They really need turn arounds every so often. Least some folks could backtrack and work around the wreck.

The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

They really need to get those things they use in China and Japan. Its basically a junkyard car grabber on a flatbed with a dump. They are bigger than what cities use use to pick up tree size trash, but the same principal. They pull right up next to the wreck, pick it up in pieces if they have to and drive off. Clears up a wreck fast. It doesn't matter if the car is salvageable or not, its in the way of a million people so it gets totaled out too.

Looks like some FedEx packages aren't going to show up at their destinations on time, if ever.

I passed it heading north this morning right after it happened. It was a mess for sure.

I wish I had gotten a heads up before it took me 3 hours to make it to an exit.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

The clock crawls when you are trapped like that. Blood pressure goes up 20 points.

If anyone else caught in it is wondering who the fat man in a White Ranger was pulled off the interstate taking a whizz, that would be me.

I always keep a 6 pack of Miller Lite iced down in a cooler for just that reason. That and a bag of pork skins!
