to condition deer to SXS and Tractor activity? Hoping to build/reclaim a path around my property for SXS use. Will the deer get numb to the activity if I drive the circuit once or twice a week?

put out corn as you drive, they will associate driving with corn.....but it will draw deer to your boundary

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Absolutely you can with regular activity, not sure once a week is going to be enough to get them use to it. I have 25 acres I live on and I am on the ranger or tractor daily, the deer don't pay me any attention after 3 years of constant use. Now if I walk up on them its a different story but even then they usually do not spook hard just slowly walk off.

Yep. Get you a feeder and sling corn as you go.

I had a plot next to a dirt road that was used to access a gas well. Have had crews come by going to the well and 5 minutes later deer were in the field. Deer just got used to the activity and would run from the truck but returned to normal activity shortly after truck disappeared.

Absolutely you can!! Goatkiller will probably think I’m crazy when I say this. When we are in Sonora we would usually ride around in my buddies red Ford diesel 1 ton. The critters would haul arse way from that thing like they were on fire. In November when we went he had issues with his truck so we rode around in mine. It a white Chevy hd just like all the pumpers and gaugers drive around the ranch in. It didn’t seem to bother the animals at all. The whitetails would just stand there and watch us pass by. The axis would run off but would only go a little ways and stop and watch us. They definitely get used to vehicles.

I do this. I’ve got a feeder on my jeep and side by side. I will feed the deer once or twice a week but when I do drive into or the property I’ll buzz off the feeder when I’m getting to the places where I’m feeding. If you ever drive up and see deer standing there hit the feeder. I’ve got them trained pretty good so even when you’re not going into feed they don’t really spook when I drive in or around the property. The guys I hunt with in Texas do this and the deer will chase a side by side when they hear it coming.

there was a feeder about 200yards behind the house i check the cam ever day on a golf cart . looking at the pictures be times id have deer there a minute before i got there and just a few minutes after id leave same day . the deer would just back off then come back .

ive broke fields up many times here and have deer eat persimmons 50 yards away same with bush hogging . when i worked on a cotton farm i dont think any animal was scared of the tractors for a lot them it was like ringing a dinner bell . i killed about 2 dozen coyotes with a pistol from a tractor that were looking for rats i killed .

long as the deer dont see it as danger theyll get use to it . i got deer that come in the yard i can walk out side and take picture with my phone.

Put the corn in a bucket and get a big scoop. Rattle the scoop while you toss the corn. They’ll be running to the ATV after a month or two

Corn may cause problems, but it is also always the solution, to whatever deer problem you're experiencing.
