I bought one just like that for the park years ago. They’re great cookers. Seal the top good with tin foil and close the lid on it and save your oil. Ours held a LOT of oil.
Only problem was fries and stuff getting down in the drain when folks were careless.

Out of curiosity, how long would the oil stay good for in one of those cookers. I'm sure usage would play a big roll in it.

Several weeks cooking 2-3 nights at the park. All depends on how you treat it and I never liked all the trash in the bottom. I’ve strained it, cleaned the cooker out and refilled. Idk at home. I’d prob strain it and keep the oil in the house after every use.

Congrats on the new cooker Snake. If you use it even close to the level of your Blackstone there will be a lot of great entries coming.

you'll love it. I've got one and I think mine holds 4 gallons of oil. We usually get 10-12 cookings before we change the oil? The trick is to use peanut oil and don't burn it. after a cooking I'll open the valve and let it flow until it runs clear then top it off with new oil.
