.........................Use to be a can that had a opossum hanging on a tree. They were my go to. Possum Brand Sardines are what we grew up on. My family ate them all the time as a snack. The Possum Brand is no longer available and it is saddening to me. No telling how many of these we ate as kids. They were the best ever. So far those were the only ones I could eat Gonna try some of these other name brands.

I like sardines in olive oil with pepper sauce and saltines.

Cant remember the brand but its in a larger tin than regular sardines, but its smoked sardines at Publix. I eat them 3-4 times a year.

When the Possum brand became unavailable I just about quit eating sardines. I'll have to try the King Oscar brand. Those are great too... The wife came home with a couple cans the other day that are made by Polar...first time I've ever had that brand and they are mighty fine...You cant miss them when you see them because they are in a round can with a see thru top... 4.23 ounces of tasty little morsels of perfection that are all wild caught, wood smoked, and hand packed ...
Did you know that Beer Nutz are over a Dollar...and Deer Nutz are under a Buck...

I'll have to try those. They are packed in Latvia.

I have been eating a can a day in extra virgin olive oil at work for years now. What brand is your favorite? King Oscar and Wild Planet
