If you're spraying with a backpack and wand , you're prolly putting out way too much at 1% . Folks tend mix it too hot and spray stuff till its running off the leaves.

I have a wand with a dual nozzle, a pretty fine mist and I’m moving on pretty quickly. Certainly not claiming to be an expert but I’ve been around it for a very long time. It’s too expensive to waste. I agree that a lot of folks probably apply way more than necessary.

Okay. I guess we can get technical but I’m sure you knew what I meant. The point is, new vegetation can -and most likely will- return to the same treated area before the season ends.

Pretty much $70 everywhere online for 2.5 gallons. I just got the Ranger XP for $70 on DoMyOwn's website. I have had good luck with this company and delivered to your door.

I bought the ranger pro last year when I caught it on sale, it foams way too bad compared to others I’ve used. If you pour it in first and then fill tank with the hose, half the tank will be foam. Takes way too long to fill a tank.

I bought 2.5 gallons of the rural king brand for around $60 bucks today.

True, pour the Ranger in last, its the surfactant foaming, easy work around.

I cant remember the pricing, but I saved an ad from Rural King about 6 weeks ago with intentions to buy a 30 gallon drum. I had surgery and have not been looking lately. I have never had any trouble with Gly going bad from sitting up over a year. I have a siphon pump and I stand the drum on end and pump out what I need. It is handy to have on hand when needed and when you buy in bulk you save money and also get a handy 30 gallon drum for farm use!

I just looked at our local Rural King website and they are showing Imitator 41% Glyphosphate in the 30 gallon drum for 480.00. This breaks down to 16.00 per gallon. They are also showing out of stock at the present time. They do get it in on a regular basis they just have trouble helping you load it.

You can also screw a spigot into one of the bungs. Lay the barrel on its side, then use the spigot like normal.

If it sits for a long period of time without adequate mixing you can have a problem.

We have had some stored over 2 years and never had an issue. We don’t keep it in a controlled climate either. Just leave it sitting on the concrete floor and get it as needed. As much as we have to spray we have to have it on hand. If I can see Matt I will ask him about storage over a period of time but we have never had an issue. We also have Remedy that is at least 3 years old still sitting. I bought it in bulk when the price was right. Used some last year and didn’t have an issue.

At daddy’s there is some 2-4-D and MSMA that has probably been sitting 10 years in the basement. I can’t say it’s good or bad. He bought it before he passed away and it is sitting where he left it.
