Damn Tyson is an old man, why doesnt Paul fight a boxer his own age and skill instead of washed up has beens? JP only fights past-their-prime fighters that he knows he has a good shot against. There's also been speculation that those fighters get paid to "throw" the fight or at least to keep it close To be fair, Jake Paul isn’t doing anything different than every other fighter in the history of the fight game. He’s only had 10 or so fights as a professional. Was Floyd Mayweather the best boxer of all time OR was he just the best at cherry picking his opponents? Nearly all of Floyd’s “marquis” victories came against opponents past their prime. Maybe not 30yrs past like Iron Mike but still. Even Tyson padded his early stats…. “Tyson made his professional debut as an 18-year-old on March 6, 1985, in Albany, New York. He defeated Hector Mercedes via first-round TKO. He had 15 bouts in his first year as a professional. Fighting frequently, Tyson won 26 of his first 28 fights by KO or TKO; 16 of those came in the first round. The quality of his opponents gradually increased to journeyman fighters and borderline contenders, like James Tillis, David Jaco, Jesse Ferguson, Mitch Green, and Marvis Frazier. His win streak attracted media attention and Tyson was billed as the next great heavyweight champion.” True. And because he promotes these fights he wins even if he loses. That's his deal. He could probably fight professionally and would be average / below average, but why would he do that ? He can pick who he wants to fight AND make all the money.

He's way too old. But Boxing as a sport has been dead for so long I'll take what I can get out of a highly publicized fight.
This use to be HUGE. Bring it back...where's Don?

What you highlighted was referring to Tyson...not Jake Paul. Tyson was a good fighter, but I think his timing was very good as well. He entered boxing at a time when all the great boxers from the 70's were aging out, and before the heavyweight division transformed into what it is today....a division for guys that are A LOT bigger then Tyson ever was. Who was the best fighter Tyson ever faced before Holyfield? Spinks? LOL Larry Holmes...who was aged out? The heavyweight division was full of bums while Tyson was in his prime. Tyson could knock most anyone out, but he could be bullied by a bigger fighter, as proven by Buster Douglas. Fear was Tyson's biggest weapon. He had most of the bums he fought beaten before he even stepped into the ring. Spinks couldn't wait to lay down. Holyfield bullied him in both fights and he wasn't even that big. Big heavyweights that came along soon after, like Riddick Bowe and Lennox Lewis (who did pummel Tyson later, but Tyson was old) would have probably been more then Tyson could handle. Like said above, Roy Jones Jr is the best I've ever seen, but he stepped too far above his weight class. Once he got to light heavy, he wasn't nearly as good because he couldn't hold up to the pounding of the bigger fighters. Middleweight or super middleweight? Untouchable.

Read the sentence before the quote…it goes a lot like this “Even Tyson padded his early stats…..”

Delete the first sentence then. Tyson padded ALL of his stats...which was MY point that you obviously missed. What is Tyson's biggest win?

The last couple fights of Mike Tyson's actual career were sad if you go back and watch them......and that's been quite awhile ago.....The only way he wins is if the other guy just really sucks

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Tyson ever hits him the fight will be over Tyson with older age has a little more wisdom than the younger days. It may be rigged but straight up Tyson takes it and probably easily. If Tyson is in shape and IF they allow it - he'll knock Jake Paul out.

Mike is going to get worked. Jake wouldn’t last 25 seconds with against Tyson in his prime but Mike is done as a boxer and if they are allowed to truly fight, Jake will kill him.

I am gonna watch, I hope Tyson knocks him out, and watching Tyson train and hit the heavy bag, I sure wouldn’t want that kinda power hitting me.
