How tall do you need it to be. You might could just let a strip wolf out and accomplish the same goal, if it doesn’t have to be really tall.

Neither cedar or LL pine likes to have wet feet for too long. I’d go with a species that’s more suited for wet soils. Any suggestions on species?

I'm actually planting loblolly this weekend on similar situation. Probably three to four rows, my back is looking forward to it... I'm also, lining the backside with hardwood species.
