8's. More umpf and still plenty of pellets. Been shooting them for years. Just my opinion and experience.

I like the on game performance of the 7.5s over the 9s.

9s are plenty in my opinion. I use 9.5s in two of my guns

8.5’s for me too. I’ve killed a pile with 9’s but get the best of both worlds between the 8’s and 9’s. Plenty of pellets and a whole lotta pecker wreaking.

8s or 9s in a 20 depending on where and when I’m pulling the trigger

I’ve shot 7’s, 8’s and 9’s. Haven’t seen any difference really. If whoever is shooting is gonna shoot outside of 50 on purpose, give them 7’s. Personally, I try not to shoot outside of 40-45. The objective to me is to trick him and get him close. Just tote a .223 or.17 if you just want to kill a turkey to put on Facebook.

When I was shooting tss I liked the 9s. I’ve since gone back to the 12 with longbeard 5s.
