Well the wife done drug me over to Woodstock Ga. To bread beckers. She has bought her a bunch of stuff even an ankarsrum and a wonder mill and 6 gallon buckets of hard red wheat hard white wheat soft white wheat and several 1 gallon buckets of stuff.Bakers honey millet olive oil and I don’t even know what all. She claims the food industry takes out the bran and the wheat germ and bleaches the flour. Anybody else into doing that? She lets me grow anything I want so what the heck. I got to research all these grains and see what will grow here. Cnc research me what I can grow that will feed me and the deers and ducks and turkey. I seen buckwheat and a lot of interesting stuff . Name of the place was bread beckers

Ya'll have fun with that. There is a reason why we buy flour in stores and why grist mills were large industrial operations that towns and cities grew around.
After ya'll have your fun, you will also find that you can order good organic unbleached flour from a lot of different places on line.

That wonder mill is awesome. My wife has been making all of our bread for the last 12 years. My favorite is the hrw millet blueberry muffins. The buttermilk waffles dang good too. Get her to make white bread from the king author flour. You'll never eat store bread again.

You probably right but she owns 3 pressure cookers and loves to do that. Didn’t cost me nothing she used her money. She gets up in the morning to make bread I may slip off a fishing. I will give her credit she can cook right up there with my granny’s. It was kind of interesting though. We stopped at 5 guys and it was 35 dollars. Up 10 dollars from what it use to be. You here all that prepping talk on here we could actually live in any shtf scenario till society completely collapsed

For a couple of years, we grew our corn and had a neighbor grind our meal. The neighbor had one of the grinders that ran off a tractor pto. We've looked at buying a grinder, but you can buy the same thing we're making, so we've put it off. It is still on her "homesteader/prepper" list.

We used to carry corn to Hanceville to have it ground. Best cornbread I’ve ever ate. Especially with real home churned butter.

Check out Metcalf Mills on YouTube. He’s into restoring old mills and has designed one of his own and hopes to get small mills back operating in small communities like the old days. He’s over near Asheville, NC. My lady friend has an old mill that needs rebuilt. If it wouldn’t cost a fortune, I’d carry it over there and let him do it.

Wish i could find some Corn Flour. Not one store carries it down here, reckon cause they want ya to buy the package pre seasoned chit at double the price (probably triple)
