anyone tried to grow popcorn? if so what are the pros and cons just wondering

I have. Grew a small patch. Lots or water and lots of nitrogen fertilizer. Basically just like growing any other corn. You’ll have to set the ears on a table with a fan blowing on them for a few days to help dry them down. After that I shelled the cobs and put the kernels in a clean pillow case and tied it closed tight. Passed through the clothes drier a couple times letting it cool real good in between cycles. Worked great.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.
