Since y’all did such a good job on my first question I thought y’all could set me straight again!! I cannot find large rifle primers in stock anywhere local but did find some online. I have a pretty good stock of small rifle primers and found some 308 Lapua Palma small primer brass. Would that brass be ok to load for a hunting round or is it just designed for bench rest loads? I know it sounds like a silly question but I really like me and I want to keep me in one piece. Thanks.

Personally, I’m not gonna use small primer brass for cartridges that can take a large rifle primer.

You'll be fine with the palma brass. Not gonna blow anything up. SR primers should give you a tighter ES for your velocities, but there is a very remote possibility of erratic ignition in very cold temperature.
