Looking into loading these bullets for a my auto .308

I think they’d be some sure enough deer killers. Have it running about 2750 fps and I think it’ll be a bad dude.

Anyone ever loaded these? If not what’s your opinion? Thanks

Those 130’s will move faster than that and yes those things are killers

Just for reference, my 308 125 grain Accubond load is traveling 3000 fps out of a 20” barrel.

I don't have those particular bullets but I did buy some 135 grain Speer Hot Core Bonded from Wilson Combat to use in my 300 HAM'R and try in my 308. Should run about 3000-3100 fps in the 308. I've not shot them yet though.

I have had excellant results with the Speer Hot Cor bullet. Mine has been 6.5 @ prob 2600-2700 fps. These don't need to scream to work well. I would expect that pushing that one 2700-2800 would be near perfect. The 6.5 will break bone, and also work if you don't hit any bone - I once put one through both lungs and missed all ribs, and it still worked well. Never recovered a bullet.

Getting 2900 out of 130ttx factory loads in my 16" AR10 I was just shooting them for the brass since they were given to me but that's not too bad for a factory load plus they are 3/4ish moa also loaded the same bullet in my 300win with 68.0gr RL15.5 but I wasn't getting but 3320fps
