Gomer... because they aren't worried about losing a 60lb doe. They can shoot another one in the ass next trip.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

I think it's best to just stick with y'alls .243s. Y'all don't need a 6.5 anyway.
As long as you shoot barnes

I've got no skin in this game so I'm not taking sides................but I've never understood the argument that specific calibers were perfectly fine for deer because "if you do your job/put the bullet where it's supposed to go, it stops them in their tracks". But hell, a .22lr will kill a deer dead if you center-punch them in the heart.
I realize every poster on this here chit-chat board is the reincarnation of Carlos Hathcock, but for other folks that are more human, it seems you'd want something as forgiving as possible, not something that "gets the job done every time, as long as you do your job."
I am in 100% agreement with you gomer. So, you must be wrong.

My wife made an unfortunate bad shot on an 8 point last Sat morning and hit it in the leg. Didn’t break bone just went through the meat on its shank right where it comes out of its shoulder. I caught it in some thin pines on Sun morning at 245 yards and shot it through the shoulders with that worthless 6.5. It dropped right on its keister but I’m sure it was about to drop anyway from the initial shot with her 7mm-08.

People that shoot creedmoors drank the hornady kool-aid and think they are all long range shooters plus they use shitty bullets which is probably the biggest issue with the Jesusmoore. I've looked all over the place and I just can't seem to find what it does any better than my other calibers even the 308...

I've looked all over the place and I just can't seem to find what it does any better than my other calibers even the 308... Now look here!!!!!!………we established the .308 earlier this week! Ha! I will say that I love my 6.5prc and my buddy I hunt with, he and his wife had used the 6.5 creedmoor almost exclusively for a while with great success. However they have moved over to the 6.5prc. Just a little more ass in the 6.5prc.
Hunting brings out the worst in people.
