Set up on the edge of a slough in a hardwood flat. There's a section of young thick stuff on one side, uncut 10-15 year old pines run down the other side of the slough, and behind me 100 yards is the end of another slough. It makes a nice natural funnel for the deer to walk the edge of the thick stuff and around the other slough. This is the first time I've hunted in here this year, wind is good, nice afternoon to be out. Stay safe and good luck.
