Toyota hybrid technology has been around longer than most. That stated my sister in law bought a 2023 non-hybrid Rav 4 Limited that she has about 40k miles on now. She LOVES it. No problems to this point.

I can't speak to the Hybrid, but I have a 2015 Rav that I bought brand new for my ex. I use it as a work vehicle. Has 235,000 miles and I drive it all over Alabama/MIssissippi.

Reliable as all get out but lots of road noise and my head would hit the roof with the chair all the way back.

I had a rental one and liked it, except I don't think the door panels had armrests. There was something like that I didn't like, but beyond that, it was a fine automobile.

Wife loved her regular one. We bought it in 21 only for my wife to pull out in front of a big van a couple of months ago totaling it after it rolled her into the ditch. She’s completely fine. That said, I can speak on the safety features as it’s very safe in the way the car collapsed on itself and not on the inside of the car as much.

My wife just traded her 23 hybrid with 30k for a 24 hybrid. She puts a 100 miles a day on it and loves it.

Unfortunately we did as my wife was driving that time as well though the driver on drugs came across a couple of lanes to hit us head on. That’s why she got the RAV4 after that one…the good Lord definitely has watched over us! Also told my wife we are wrapping her next car in bubble wrap with her track record 😂

My daughter bought a 2024 when she got her first big girl job. She absolutely loves it. It's not a Hybrid. A deer loved it too. She had it about a month before she hit one. She was in Guntersville, on the west side of the Big River Bridge. Insurance is dragging their feet on repairing it. They're probably shocked that anyone could find a deer to hit in south Marshall county.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Not a RAV4 but got my wife a 2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid. She really likes it. Gets +50 MPG in town which is where she does most of her driving. I was worried about battery life but Toyota has a 10-year 100K warranty on the batteries.

Toyota has been slow to embrace the EV market, and it's by design. They don't see EVs taking over like every other car manufacture. They are betting on hybrid. I would get it.

Rented a bunch of them when traveling through the Rockies. Great gas mileage on the ICE units. Rides and drives good.
The passenger seat is a little short on the bottom for riding for very long without getting out.

I've considered one for a daily driver myself instead of my truck.
