I'm hoping for the best but these situations are 100% preventable.
Follow the rules of gun handling. You are right, but soooo many people don’t. And safety while climbing as well. I’m guilty. I fell a few years ago while putting up a ladder stand. Just being dumb thinking it won’t ever happen but it did.

This seems to appen every year.
If you're raising kids with guns it's YOUR responsibility to know the RULES and TEACH them to your kids.
No excuse for this chit and it pizzes me off every time I see it happen.
