We make it to Huntsville about once a month. Its about the same drive to Chattanooga or Murfreesboro, TN. But I like the drive better to and around Huntsville. I have came to the conclusion that there are very few places to get a decent meal and decent service anymore. Mexican food is about the best option for the money and service, but dang I can only eat so much Mexican food. We use to like the Longhorn in Jones Valley but the last 2 times we have be there it was terrible. All locations of Outback are terrible as of late. I guess the days of getting good food and service are over. Any good hole in the wall local places in Huntsville worth trying? Sam and Gregs pizza was pretty good the last time we ate there.

I'm about convinced you can't get an actual great meal anywhere anymore. Home maybe

Covid and our government absolutely decimated the restaurant industry. Very few good ones left.

X3 for German, or right by it is Big Bowl Thai, which is good Thai.

West End Grill is good eats, and it’s a local only hole-in-wall place.

I see you're from Winchester. We hear that Filo's is pretty good there. True or not?

If you’re just looking to eat Guntersville is a better option.
