I have a Remington 700 adl that I have be considering converting to a bdl. Are the factory Bergara stocks from the b14 ridge or wilderness ridge worth spending a little money on and would it be an upgrade over the basic adl stock? I believe I can find a take off for not much in one of those.

I know there are some very good stocks out there but I’m not interested in sinking $6-700 into the conversion. The rifle shots good right now.

Yes they would be an upgrade. You can find a few on eBay for a good price. I have 5 Bergara and I wouldn’t change any of the stocks.

McMillan would be my pick, but the Bergara stocks are made just outside Huntsville by AG Composites. I have also heard good things about Grayboe.

Boyd's laminates are great, but a little heavier.

The Bergara Premier Series stocks are the only ones made for them by AGC.
