I know it’s a budget rifle, but any reason to turn this rifle down for $200? It’s in new condition. Never fired. Straight rifle no scope. Thoughts? Main complaint I see is people don’t like the stock.

I don’t think you can even get a mosin nagant for $200. Hard to go wrong with a rifle for $200 as long as it safely fires, just set your expectations accordingly.

I'd buy it just to say that bish cost me two skins. You could rebarrel it and still be on the cheap side

Keep your booger hooker off the bang switch.

I bought a 7 mag cheap a few years ago just because. Added a timney trigger and it’s a very accurate rifle. Almost any rifle that goes “bang” is worth 2 bills.

Yeah I'd buy it for $200.00.
Better rifle than the 710 and 770 and they still seem to be bringing $250

They have a lab issue with the magazine feeding a round with 3 rounds in the magazine but other than that they’re a pretty solid budget rifle. Some people on forums even report getting pretty dang good precision out of them with an aftermarket stock. They’ll kill deer just fine stock

I figured it was worth it. I appreciate the input. I picked one up to hold the other day and I don’t see a big problem with the stock. I’ll get it and put some good glass on top of it.

for that, it'd be a donor 358 Win with a composite stock upgrade!

I'd buy it for that. I've got one in 7 mag and it's very accurate with handloaded 140 Accubonds.
