I like 26 inch but seems like most on the shelves are 28. I have an A300 and a SX3 and both are good guns. Saw new ones (sx4)this week for $700 and $650 for the A300. The browning silver can be had for about $1k and the M2 isnt much higher. You cant go wrong with any of those. Since the Stoegers have gone up in price I'm not as much a fan. I'd just rather have the Beretta if they costs are similar. And they are pretty close now.

I'd go 28 on the barrels. I think for waterfowl you'll get a smoother swing balance.

Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

Probably going to a store to hold them all and go from there, if theyre all "good".

It’s hard to screw up with a Beretta. Those A300s seem to be the most bang for the buck in my opinion.

Another pro to the A300 is they’re American made.
Plant is outside Nashville

I have an A300 outlander in 12 gauge and an A300 ultima in 20 gauge. Both have had ALOT of rounds through them with zero malfunctions.

I like a short gun for turkeys, a medium gun for quail, and a long gun for doves. Doves are hardest to hit, so if I'm buying multi purpose, I'd go 28" barrel. If semi auto, Berretta.

I bought a m2 and a weatherby element.

Both are solid guns and function as they should.

Bout a 500$ difference in the two and not much of a difference in shooting them.

I prefer a shorter barrel

Out of those 3 , the Berretta in an A300 is going to be hard to beat. And I'm partial to a 26 inch barrel. But that's a personal preference thing.

I have a Beretta A300 Outlander in 12 gauge and it is a lot of shotgun for the money. I consider it one of the best values on the shotgun market.

Benelli just doesn't fit everyone. Great guns, but I personally don't shoot them well, Brownings either. Shotguns are not one size fits all for sure. I wouldn't buy a Benelli without shooting one first, well actually, I wouldn't buy any shotgun without shooting one first. So never mind. :-)
