I pulled the bullets out of 60 rounds of 6.5 Grendel PPU ammo. I poured the powder from the first 20rounds on my digital powder scale and 18 of them weighed 29.3 grains. One was 29.2 and the other was 29.4. I the randomly weighed rounds out of the other 40 and everyone weighed 29.3. I’d say that is pretty precise measurements for a cheaper factory load.

I assume the ammo was loaded with ball powder. Ball is much easier to get close using a volumetric type measure than extruded. I don't use my Chargemaster for ball powders, just an old RCBS uniflow and it's always within 0.1 grain when I spot check charges with scales.

I’m very new to this. I just thought that was pretty good.
