Looking for an ag lime supplier and spreader rental around the Hamilton area. Also, Some of our food plots can only be accessed with a 4-wheeler or utv. Any tips on spreading lime in these areas?

Yes but pelletized always works much quicker

The pros of ag lime are that it’s way cheaper than bagged pellets and because it’s a mix of sizes ag lime will have longer residual effects on pH.
The negative is that you really need the proper equipment to spread it and that may also limit where you can take such equipment. An ATV trail through a swamp is a prime example of where you ought not drag a lime buggy.

I have pulled a utility trailer in with ag lime loaded on a tarp and spread it by hand with shovels. Not ideal, but it works.

I have done that also but with a backpack blower.
