Hope none of y’all planned on a south wind this am like two dif weather apps said…. Been straight north here all morning. Mine was coming out south/southeast. 6 slick heads, seeing some chasing around where i hunt but nothing as of yet to indicate any hot does on the property. Hopefully soon

That's a 3.5 yr old hopper. He's not what I would call fully mature and I dont think he's 4.5 but he's older than 2.5. I see the same thing

Yall I think he is 2.5. But I could be wrong he looks very light in the hips. But regardless he gets a pass because I like them more mature and he is the type you want walking around

If he was 2.5, where the bottom of his neck intersects his chest/brisket area would be visibly higher and he wouldnt be quite as muscular in the shoulders. Like I said, I dont see 4.5 but I definitely dont see 2.5 either. I'd put money on him being 3.5, especially knowing you're in Greene County and he's already run off some weight cruising and maybe even chasing some depending on exactly where you are hunting in Greene.

I can see that now looking at the pics, he literally looked like he weighed 140 or less. They are definitely cruising. Our property is off of exit 40 and 181

He's real good even as a 3 yr old. He'll probably be really hard to pass next year at 4.5 and he's got the potential to be a real stud at 5.5. Good genes. Best of luck. Hope you kill his dad or grandpa. I have let a lot of deer like this one pass, this year waiting on one really big 9. Now I may not shoot a deer this year but I have seen some really good ones. We have really good genetics here

I've saw 7 3 were bucks and the third was a 3 year old outside his ears 8 pt. I can't shoot a deer on my own land that's not mature. The second young 8 pt was chasing a group of 3 doe. It's in full swing here in Marbury/ northern Elmore county Where are you in Marbury? I’m in Marbury and have buck’s feeding together still
Don't blame me for your bad decision-
