What are you guys feeding? I fed Taste of the Wild for several years but then the dogs just quit eating it. Switched to Purina Pro Plan and they loved it, but now I’m reading the Pro Plan is making dogs sick. Could just be a bad batch that went out but I know several people who said their dogs recently got sick on it. Looking for something new to try that doesn’t have a lot of grain filler. Cost isn’t a concern, I just want a good quality food.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

We swapped from Taste of the Wild Vension/Bison to Royal Canin for Boxers, after the 1yr old moved up from puppy food. So far so good with no apparent digestive issues with the 1yo nor the 6yo...Boxers are gonna be gassy, so no getting around that part of the equation.

experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

Purina 1 with a dasuquin supplement for joints. The latter made a big difference. He's an older dog.

Our dog has only had Purina Pro Plan Sport Performance All Life Stages High-Protein 30/20 Salmon & Rice Formula Dry Dog Food for her 7 years with no issues. Vet started her on it as a puppy and said keep her on it for life.

Diamond is good stuff. Victor isn’t bad for a mid grade food.

My lab has allergies. So she gets 2 chicken thighs, half a can of sweet potatoes and a can of green beans or peas. It’s helps with the skin issues that labs have. Or seems to help anyways.

Try Fromm

It's really high quality.
High protein.

You don't want to buy anything with corn in it, which is what almost all of them are.

I have tried all of them and my German Shepherds start to look like a crackheads after I take them off of Fromm. It's also the only brand I have found that they love to eat. The best is Fromm Puppy food in the pink bag. Highest protein...28%

Mine are 5 and 6yrs old.
I keep 3 different flavors so they have a variety. Puppy, puppy chiot and adult flavor.

All the pet stores and vets I've spoken to about it, like it too.
