What’s your opinions on the subject? A piece I have the luxury to hunt had the perimeter fire lanes discoed a month ago. The bordering neighbor had his 209 acres clear cut last year and they just did a burn in preparation for planting trees. Our property has good tall pine stand but overgrown underbrush. The fire lanes now have a good straight 200 yard clear view of our side and this is where the deer cross from our pines into his clearcut. He also has a pond, where the deer drink from. Is it unethical for me to have my ground blind setup in the buffer area (still on our property), so I can watch the 200 yard for deer to get a good shot?

I'd discuss it with him just to be on the same page. It is never good to be crossways with a neighbor even if you are in the right.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

One thing I’ve learned on ALDEER.
It is absolutely 100% acceptable for you to hunt right up to the last centimeter of you’re property It is absolutely worth starting WW3 and burning the neighbors house down with his family inside if he hunts the last 2 miles of his 😂

I have a new neighbor that moved in about a year ago. He bought house and 2 acres from my cousin. He has about a 1/2 acre in the woods. I own everything around him on 3 sides and My cousin owns the 4th side. I found a ladder stand on his property facing my property overlooking a heavily used trail. The tree the stand is mounted on actually still has the surveyors tape on it. It is literally on the line. I am headed over there this afternoon to discuss. We had one like that that our neighbor had…we took their stand down and layed it by the tree…it was gone a week later lol

He can’t hunt on his own property?

Most line hunters I have encountered ride the neighbors property lines because they either can't find a stand location on their own or they have ZERO trigger control. Doe blasters mostly. Trying to ruin your property along with theirs.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
