I dont understand why yall dont just grow you some reefer, smoke it and keep your mouth shut about it. Jakethesnke, if you want to get high, you can pass the drug tests, its not hard. We ask our govt when we can hunt, what we can hunt, what ammo we can shoot it with and yall are worried to death about getting the govts permission to smoke weed. Jyst grow you some nd smoke it. You dont need anyones help or permission. The greatest ntion on earth has become a bunch of beggers. Oh please can we smoke weed, please please. Weve really come to a sad place in our countries history.

This and maybe take it one step further and tell the gubbamint it's not their biz. Yall would be surprised that about half of your "conservative" friends either regularly use or will do so socially. The truth is there are some laws that give cops a really good excuse to investigate further which is why this a tough one to change. All the President has to do is remove it from Schedule I and all the banker types will lobby the hell put of the states to legalize it overnight. Just like the end of prohibition with alcohol. I bet them politicians were pounding the podium about the evils of alcohol until the 19th amendment was repealed and that check from Annheiser Busch showed up the next day.

An old girlfriend of mine was diagnosed with cancer.. she left for Commierado and was issued a card in no time .... when she went into remission she kept using.... she told me it did help with pain and loss of hunger... she passed some years later when the cancer came back on her...
I had a 1st cousin who died of a rare form of cancer on his liver....he never tried going to a state that had medicinal pot...but he did keep using here in Bama,,, after the radiation and chemo treatments he went into remission and lived for another 20+ years... he partially attributed survival for that time to smoking pot on a regular basis.

This didn't used to be no long ago but I can't pull out of my driveway and get down govt street without the scent trail of pot in the air.... I go grocery shopping and the smell of burned pot is in the air... I even smell the raw bud of it on people I pass in the isles... people are smoking the most potent pot... it has been hybridized by people who are combining the latest in genetic strains that produces a euphoria of affects that make many smokers think they're a clairvoyant ,,, a being above the rest,, smarter than God himself.... their brains so numbed out they think they've reached nirvana in some other realm of existence.. it's absurd.

this just didn't start being a problem and it will only get much worse when legal across the land. How do you plan to keep your children from it and its destructive power it places on their minds ????????????????????????? As for the adults.. perhaps a bourbon and coke and a ice cold beer maybe or an iced tea and a bud of GG5 or Tropicana Kush maybe a wedding cake bud or a Kush mint....

I hope my daughter never uses cannabis but if I had to choose between weed or alcohol I'd prefer her use weed 100x over. Way less health issues. They are both emotional crutches but the weakest men I've know are slaves to alcohol and most wouldn't consider themselves alcoholics.

A wise man. If you buy it nowadays, you don't know how much Fentanyl it is laced with. I would get familiar with the laws on plants. A small plant counts as much as a large one so it doesn't take much to put you in the Trafficking category. I never worked in narcotics so I can't give you the specifics, sorry.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I know for a fact that its good for Crohn's and I'll say theres plenty of recreational users that are productive and successful. It's like everything else, moderation is key whether its food, drugs, sex, gambling.

I quit smoking cigarettes almost 7yrs ago. Ive thought about it alot lately and i believe if i was bound and determined to smoke tobacco, i believe i would figure out how to grow my own. Cant tell whats in anything nowadays. Money would be the biggest factor.

DoA used to hunt pot growers for CCSO (although it has been 26 years this next month since he left law enforcement to go work offshore) and he said at that time if someone grew 50 or more plants it could be moved into federal court. He said sentencing was usually lighter in state courts than federal.

I used cbd when i was hurt. It was a gamechanger. It certainly has medicinal properties.

Ok, maybe that wasn't a good habit choice but you get the idea. I'll add alcohol.

Like most things there is always the good and the bad.
That’s what’s sad, at least half the population go all in.
The other thing you mentioned. The potency is substantially improved compared to back in the day. I’ve had some say it’s the same but those that actually know, know it’s nowhere close to the same. A few years back I worked with a young guy that was all into it. You’d think he was raising bulls for the best breeding stock. I had no idea that certain strains are this that or the other. Some will bring you down. Some will rev you up and so forth.
John was well versed in the growing aspect. Lights temperature control certain soils and green sand. He educated me but I’ve forgot all of it except how it has changed.

On another note, because of potency there has been an uptick in the younger generation developing certain psychosis.

Like mentioned, some are spiking it with fentanyl. That’s the scary part.

shucks, I will risk it. Been diagnosed with OCD and Major Depressive Disorder. Ive abused some type of substance to medicate these symptoms for over 40 years. Seen many therapists, been on Prozac, pretty much tried everything good and bad to help. That being said, I am highly functional, I have been married 25 years and have 3 awesome kids, own two successful businesses, It’s been a rough ride though. The two things that have helped me most are monthly Ketamine infusions and quality(no gas station) Delta 8 gummies. I take low doses of indica Delta 8 a couple times a day. It’s just calms me, shucks rolls off my back that would normally make me rage. I sleep well and wake up feeling great with no side effects. To me, if you need something to help you in that way, it’s the perfect choice.

Bulls eye, what do the ketamine infusions do to you? We used to do special k back in the day. To be honest, i cant tell you if i ever felt anything off it, but we were doing so much different stuff back then it would be hard to say for sure what was doing what. I had heard of people going into a k hole. Kinda blacking out i guess. I never experienced anything like that. Ive saw the cimmercials for the ketamine treatments an i was just curious what it might make a erson feel like.

I rather have someone using a "crutch" that makes them think they are clairvoyant and lazy a couple of hours a day than using the only drug known to make people violent as a common side effect (hint you can get it at the ABC store). There will be a few waking up in the county jail Monday, and I'd bet zero of those stories will start with, "So I took a toke..." The government only makes it their business for one reason, money. As soon as they can figure out how to make more money off it being legal than illegal, (yes being illegal makes the government money too) whole thing will flip quicker than you can imagine.

It reminds me of the Casino argument. Every couple of years it comes up in Texas. The politicians get up there and pound the table about morality, crime, etc... The same politicians getting paid by the Indian Casinos in Oklahoma and Louisiana. The largest casino in the world is literally in the middle of nowhere, 100 miles from Dallas, a parking lot full of Texas plates. Am I the only one who finds a bunch of prairie in Oklahoma an odd place for the largest casino in the world? All about the dinero...

Personally, I think of Winston Churchill's quote when criticized for his drinking he said, "I've taken more out of alcohol than it has ever taken out of me". I could never make such a statement about alcohol even though I do drink. I've learned to be very careful. Everyone is different and has to learn their own limits. Life is tough we all need help chilling, just like we all need a little help waking up sometimes with a cup of coffee. Obviously, there is a limit to what a community should put up with, but I find it hard to point a finger a cannabis with four pointing right back at alcohol. The only role the government should play in either is preventing unscrupulous producers from harming people. I know a little bit about producing moonshine. One shady producer can make ya blind and looking for a kidney transplant after one night.

There's a lot people I respect that are small government until it comes to this issue and I just don't get it.

I listened to a JRE podcast last week with Gary Brecka. He talked about testing for genetic disorders and treating anxiety and depression through nutritional supplementation . You might check him out if you've tried everything else.

Hate to say it...but, if someone is "flyin' high" and driving a vehicle/equipment...it is the public's business. One person might be fine but another so high they get crazy on the road. Maybe injure someone bad on a job site with heavy equipment. I don't care what folks do at home and for sure cancer patients etc really need it. Behind the wheel is a whole different story.
