Anyone have a Sako model 90 Peak ? I haven't even seen one. I reckon it replaced the Finnlight.

They look really nice and I especially like they have some left handed options. My only question is when you start getting to this price point how much more would a Gallagher built custom rifle be than one of these?

Not a whole lot, if any…if you already had a donor action for the build. Those Sako 90 Peak’s are $4400 at Precision Optics.

I sure like the way they look, but I also bought a beautiful Sako 85 Hunter in 270 and shot 145 ELDX ammo out of it two weeks ago at the range....and it was shooting 2" groups at 100 yards.

Cant drop that kind of money on another rifle in the next gen line with results like that. Lot more work to do to see if it likes different ammo...but still.

These look really nice but as others have said, you're at full blown custom price range. Eurooptic has them at $3,499. Isaac Gallagher built one for me 8 months ago, $3,425 all in, including the action, stock, barrel, trigger, bottom metal, cerakote, bedding, and barrel work.

I got to get off my rear and get him started on one for me.

What's even better is the fact that my Kimber weighs in at 4Lb 13 Oz and was $1450 (a couple of years back). LOL.

Fierce has some great deals on their discontinued rifle inventory that are already scoped. Some great Elk calibers with good optics for less than most average factory rifles when scoped. I really didn't need to find them. There is a Carbon RivalTwisted Rival with a V4 Zeiss 6-24-50 on there for $3299. A Twisted Rival in 6.5 PRC with a Leica Amplus 6 3-18-44 for $2999. You can't build and scope a custom job anywhere close to this.

Those are great rifles; my 75 Hunter Stainless .270 is one of my favorites. Though; the 75 Finnlight is not that "light". But; light enough.
