How do you go from people wanting electric cars to people with no mushrooms?

Dude, you might want to see a therapist or something. If what someone drives bothers you that much, you have issues

Excellent answer and what I've been hearing far as talk radio goes.ev cars getting thrown into dealerships that can't move them

Ev market is dying, musk keeps having to price cut inventory, other makers aren't selling either. I think it was tv hype and government hype, the people that want to be cool bought theirs then the rest realized it's a sham. Now the trend is dying. Or perhaps people are just not buying anything til this inflation scam is over. I personally don't think food prices will ever go back down to where they were before. The elites plan was to get everyone use to these high prices and keep them there in my opinion.

All that said, I realize itā€™s not doing schit for the environment. I just like the technology and I know eventually, itā€™ll be king, itā€™s only a matter of time.

Nephew did for his wife. They drive it often but he still has a big F350 work truck. They like it and enjoy the comments because some seem intrigued by it. Heā€™s an electrician making some serious money so I think that played into his decision more than anything.

I saw a gal driving a Plaid the other day. Guarantee yall would be happy to buy it for her if sheā€™d let you. šŸ˜‚

For the record itā€™s spelled morAls.

3%ā€¦ you do know that coal, natural gas, and a little petroleum are what power EVs right?

I use an electric toothbrush. And Iā€™m proud of it. Iā€™m not a liberal.

Just because democrats support EVs doesnā€™t mean that EVs are automatically evil and conservatives are against them. Now if the government starts mandating we use EVsā€¦ thatā€™s a problem. And Iā€™m against that. But if people want to use new technology, go ahead and let them. Thatā€™s the beauty of America.

Hammerhead the mushroom comment is hilarious.

The current electric car technology doesn't interest me. It's not ready for consumers yet in its current form. I waited to buy a flat screen TV, because at first they were too expensive, and the technology had not settled down to its current form that we see now. I'm doing the same with electric cars. Waiting for the breakthrough we need to make them viable and stable, and lower in price. They should eventually be cheaper to manufacture than internal combustion cars and trucks, but we aren't there yet.

I don't care what someone else buys or wants to buy. That's their business if they want to waste money by being early adopters of technology.

The current EV's are too early in the technology to be a viable mode of transportation as Irish pointed out
They are in my mind like the curly light bulbs that were rushed to the marked a few years before the LED's hit the market

If you like coal, you'll love EV's. I believe there is a Telsa around Birmingham with the license place "COALBRNR" or some such. It makes me chuckle.

I don't have an EV and don't plan to buy one but they have their place and, Teslas at least are really cool cars.

We use our Rav4 strictly for in town driving. If I were to buy another one, I would definitely consider a EV version. The F150 is for the long distance trips and towing the boat.

Well I am about as right wing as a guy could be and I am considering not only a solar system for the house but also maybe an electric vehicle too.Not to save the planet but to give me an alternate energy source if everything ever truly went south. A serious shortage of gasoline is not that far out of the realm of possibility so it would be nice to have an alternative form of transport.
