Did I read correctly that you have a 15amp breaker in the box supplying power to the camper or it’s 15amp inside the power center?
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

Unplug from power source and open electric panel to access the LUGS where the large gauge electrical wires come into camper and make sure they are TIGHT.

You have a power supply issue check the source Yes sir If you take a meter to the power ped , you would find you have insuficient voltage . These RVs act real funny when this happens. I have had half of my motorhome not work before .

Thermostat sounds like might have crapped out or has a short.
When the heater kicks on do you hear the furnace light as normal?
Just an FYI, In my camper I put a oil filled radiator heater and it is awesome for heating my 34’ camper. Works as well if not better than the propane heater, it has a thermostat and totally it’s silent.

Update… unhooked battery and cut shore power and battery was at 11.9. Replaced battery. Also checked leads from converter and it was 13.6 so I figured good to go. Cut everything back on and heat ran for about 30 min but still didn’t seem to get as warm as it use to. Cut heat off and went to help someone with something. Came back and tried to cut heat on and thermostat dead again. Next time the tstat doesn't work. put a meter on the tstat power wire.
