Stace’s place? If so, loads of hogs, pretty good deer, nice camp. Lease managers kept turkey rights on the entire place and it’s non-negotiable. They still running just 5 family memberships on it? That’s it. Was curious if the deer hunting, camp, etc was worth the price.

Cousin knew him when he lived in T'ville 5 or 6 yrs ago. Heck, it's probably been longer than that. Only hunted it one afternoon, so just one afternoon for a sample, but we did see good numbers of deer, and some young bucks, just nothing big that particular day, but we were also there to help shoot hogs, not deer hunt. If I'm not mistaken, Walter and Hale over at Tutt, are the two holding the turkey rights on it. $10K sounds pretty steep but it's in a good spot and it's got a member to acreage ratio of 500 acres per member with a camp. So if you just look at the numbers only, each member is essentially leasing 500 acres, on the river, with a camp included for $20/acre. If that price is all inclusive and includes both power and planting, that's not a bad turnkey deal IMO at $20 per acre. It'd be a better deal for sure, if it had turkey rights with it, but you've got to decide how much those would be worth to you. I'd call him and talk to him, what they manage for and what they've shot the last few years. I'm sure he'd have pics. He's seemed like a good guy and should shoot you straight.

If it’s 10k and I don’t get to hunt everything around, it’s not for me….sounds like jam up deer and other hunting though but no turkey hunting is a deal breaker for ne

Probably close to 15,000 or 20,000 acres. From what I’ve been told, they keep turkey rights on pretty much everything that Tutt Land Co. handles the leases on. They’ve got 12-15 parcels they run clubs on and lease out every year and they are all pretty big acreage tracts. Every one shown on their website says “there are no turkey memberships for this club”. Don’t know if it’s all exclusive but they got rights to turkey hunt a bunch of big acreage parcels in the Clarke, Marengo, Wilcox, and Dallas. Majority of the acreage I know about, being in Clarke and Marengo.
