Y’all been saying this chit since 2006. Saban will leave for Penn State. Or Texas. Or Notre Dame. Or Ohio State. Now, 17 years later, you crybabies are praying he retires. Go back to something y’all know about. Like humping goats.

"How in the hell did you get to be a moderator?"...Skinny

God Bless Nick Saban!

Another point is UA gives him access to the UA plane. Him, MIss Terry and family can jump on the jet and be in Jupiter in an hour. It’s like the rest of us driving to the mall. No big deal to get there, spend a day or two and jet back. With all that said, I dont understand why he would not want out of the hustle, but very few people are wired like that guy is.

A spare home is not a tax write-off. It’s a huge expense. Especially if you’re not renting it out (which he obviously won’t).

He’s insanely wealthy. There’s no need to excuse him enjoying his money. He enjoys his job, and is good at it. Not everyone wants to sit and stare at the wall. It’s not like he has any hobbies.

Not arguing, I am in no way an accountant. But I have a condo in PC. There are a ton of units in my place that are owned by corporations as a tax write offs. They put it in the corporations name for employee perks, customer perks, ex. Im not saying thats what he did but when you’re rolling in that kind of money, there are tax advantages us working smucks only dream about.

Thats funny, true but funny. I remember when Saban was hired the die-hard aubies battle cry was: “he’ll never stay” he’ll be gone within a year, he never stays anywhere long’ “Saban is a hired gun”(I never understood that one) As a Auburn grad, Ive endured years of Saban’s success. Ive never begrudged Bama’s success but it is hard when your most fierce rival has been the king of college football for so long. Im an oddball though, most aubies would get more joy out of Bama losing then Auburn winning. It’s hilarious to me when I see Auburn fans glowing with envy. Maybe one day the tables will turn and Aubies will have fun with the bammers.

He's not going to leave for another school but he will eventually retire or die. He's old so I would think it will be sooner than later.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

He's only 10 years older than I am. What chu talkin' bout Willis?

Bryant coached until he was 70 and he smoked unfiltered cigarettes his whole life. Saban is in excellent health and eats a damned grilled chicken salad every day for lunch.

Coach Bryant died at 69; 4 weeks after his last game

69, 70 whatever

The point is... Saban is not that old in today's modern society.

He is old in today’s “modern society.”
Math doesn’t get a pass.
2022 US #s, Average life expectancy:
Male 73.5 years old
Female 79.3 years old

But I’ll bet he coaches until he physically can’t do it anymore. Just don’t see him quitting. But who knows.

But, those averages include younger peoples deaths from suicide; murder, drug overdose, accidental deaths(car accidents) etc.
If you reach 70; the average at that point for a U.S.is almost 85. But; no guarantees
I just want him to go as long as he wants to; and thanks for the memories.
There's a part of me that would love to see him win one more this year(long shot) and hang it up. He really seems to be enjoying this year. But; I think he can see the potential next year.
