I don't think it's the same deer, 2.5 first deer, 5.5 second

3 last year
Fat 4 year old this year. Likely the same deer, but I’m only looking at two pictures and I like series of pics from multiple years to be sure.

Let me sift through some pics and compare. About 99% sure it's the same deer. Angle of the 2 pics is different. I'll try to get 2 that are the same angle

Well,he isn't getting any older, regardless of how old he was. I actually passed on him multiple times last year, and thought he was a 3yr old. This year,I saw him opening weekend of bow,and sent one across his back at 13 yards . Shaved the top of his back. Nothing but brown hair on my broadhead. He was so close,I was already looking to see him fall over, and didn't hold the finish. Totally blew it. Fast forward to the gun opener. He had been Mia since the shave job,and showed back up the night before the opener. I shot a doe the morning of the 18th and told my wife i was going out early and planned on killing that exact buck. Got in the ground blind at 2 and he was dead by 230. First buck with my new rifle and scope. After looking at pics ,I thought for sure he would be around 170-180lb. This deer was one of those really short deer. Weighed 140lb and appeared very healthy. I'm thrilled with him and was fortunate to get another shot at him.

3 years in that pic

I don't want to pass quietly into the night. I want to slide in sideways kickin and screamin

Looks like a 3 yr old jawbone.

Congrats. It don’t matter regardless but it’s fun to know.

Had 2 encounters with him 2 seasons ago and filmed both:
