pretty sure citizen ecotech is about as far as i will ever go, anything more is too much or just bragging. but yeah if your gonna make a statement like "iam successful, or Iam rich" you gotta go with tag or rolex, maybe omega. anything less and us rednecks won't recognize it. If I saw a man wearing a watch called tissot I would assume he was gay. but I don't know too much.

Fixed it for you.

I like watches, because:
I have always worn one.
I'm old fashioned.
I like to be on time and know what time it is when I glance at my wrist..
I'm a gearhead and I think all machines are really cool, especially tiny self-winding, precision machines made by excellent craftsmen.

If that's pretentious, then that's somebody else's problem.

I agree Irish.

I have many watches and will continue to wear them and add to my collection.

Gentlemen,

Thank you for all the pointers and kind comments.

I bought the Tissot watches today. I got a GREAT deal on the purchase from Jomashop.

I have my friend gathering new backs for each so I can have a verse engraved on each one. I'm really looking forward to giving these young men a lifetime of reasons to remember each other and a glimpse into what we see in them.

Thank y'all >Moss

I’m glad jomashop worked out. They’ll be happy with a Tissot. They’re nice watches.

I have a nice watch. I just can’t wear it on my wrist. My wife calls it an iPhone and I use it to scroll aldeer also. If I got a wrist watch I would love to have a Rolex one day.

If I ever become a gazillionaire, I’d get a Breitling. Until then, my Suunto Core does just fine
