The feed wheat I’ve used didn’t look any different than any other seed I’ve ever planted, clean wise. I’ve had good luck with it, myself.

This. I’ve had a bad weed issue each time I tried to plant feed wheat.

I found elbon rye on Fri morning and top seeded plots in the rain Fri afternoon. We got decent rain Fri, but looks like we may get couple inches next 48 hours.

FYI -

Planted on Saturday 10/28. My plots are looking VERY good.

No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Just top seeded all our plots just before this rain. Hit it perfect.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Just walked in the door from overseeding a couple bags of Wrens Abruzzi Rye on the thin spots in my plots. They were planted the day before our last rain a month ago and actually have been doing well even though no rain. Only problem was I did not get the plots as smooth as I would have liked and there was less germination on higher furrow tops that did not get leveled. I bottom plowed this year and learned a lesson. A tiller does a piss poor job of flattening out deep furrows.
